Sally Deng is in her first season as the video and analytics coordinator for the Northwestern volleyball program. Prior to this season, she served as the Men’s Volleyball videographer at Santa Monica College.
Before beginning her time in college athletics, Deng taught secondary math and coached high school girls’ and boys’ volleyball in LAUSD.
Born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, Deng received her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UCLA in 2019 and master’s degree in teaching secondary mathematics from UCI in 2020. She is currently obtaining her master’s degree in sports administration from Northwestern.
