Hannah Johnson Named Elite 90 Award Winner

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – No. 2 Northwestern lacrosse senior Hannah Johnson was named the recipient of the NCAA Elite 90 award ahead of this weekend's Final Four.

Johnson, a Human Development in Context major with a 3.94 grade-point average, was presented with the award at Gillette Stadium. 

This season, Johnson appeared in 16 of the Wildcats' 20 games, netting a pair of goals to go with three points. She has logged 57 games in her four years in Evanston, recording 22 goals, nine assists and 31 points with NU advancing to the Final Four each season. She set a career high with 18 goals and 25 points as a sophomore in 2022.

Off the field, Johnson is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection (2022 and 2024) and earned both the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and Big Ten Sportsmanship Award in 2024.

The Wildcats face No. 3 Boston College in a rematch of the last two national championship games in Friday's NCAA semifinal at 4:30 p.m. CT. The game is televised live on ESPNU.
