Our Mission: Northwestern University Sports Medicine will provide access to exceptional medical care. Through a personal, inclusive physical and psychological wellness approach, we strive to enhance the academic and performance experience of each Northwestern student.
The medical care and well-being of each Northwestern student-athlete is managed by an amazingly talented staff of sports medicine providers that includes: Head Team Physician, Director of Athletic Training Services, five Assistant Team Physicians, 19 Staff Certified Athletic Trainers and two Physical Therapist/Certified Athletic Trainers.
Northwestern student-athletes also benefit from healthcare providers in fields such as sports psychology, sport nutrition and manipulative medicine. They also have access to many world-renowned medical specialists located right here within the Northwestern medical community should the need arise.
