Charlotte Gottfried joined the Northwestern Athletics department as an Assistant Director of Design and Branding in January 2025. She will work closely with her supervisor Mason Flick, and coworker Christian Simons.
Charlotte grew up in Klein, TX, a northern suburb of Houston. She gained experience in graphic design and photography early on in grade school.
Prior to starting at Northwestern, Charlotte earned her Bachelor of Journalism degree in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Psychology from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln.
For her entire time at Nebraska, she held an internship in athletics as a Creative Media Student Assistant, providing creative services and social media strategy to the Women’s Volleyball, Women’s Gymnastics, and Softball teams. Events she covered included the Softball B1G Championship win in 2022, the Men’s Track and Field B1G Championship win in 2023, Volleyball Day in Nebraska in 2023, and the Nebraska Volleyball Regional Championship win in 2024.
Charlotte also gained experience in graphic design at her internship with Wasserman Next-Gen in Boston, MA during the Summer of 2024.
