    How to Get to Athletic Events?

    WHERE ARE WILDCAT ATHLETIC EVENTS?

    Football
    Games are played at Ryan Field located at 1501 Central St.

    Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, Volleyball, and Wrestling
    Events are held at Welsh-Ryan Arena, just north of Ryan Field.

    Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, Field Hockey, and Lacrosse
    Games are played at the lakeside fields of the Leonard B. Thomas Athletic Complex located behind SPAC.

    Baseball
    Games are played at Rocky Miller Park located just northwest of Welsh-Ryan Arena.

    Softball
    Games are played at Sharon J. Drysdale Field located just northeast of Welsh-Ryan Arena.

    Men's Swimming and Women's Swimming
    Events are held at the Norris Aquatics Center inside SPAC.

    Men's Tennis and Women's Tennis
    Indoor matches are held at the Combe Tennis Center inside SPAC.
    Outdoor matches are held at the Vandy Christie Tennis Center located at the corner of Sheridan Rd. and Colfax St.

    Fencing
    Events are held on the basketball courts of SPAC.

    HOW DO I GET THERE?

    Football, Men's Basketball, and Other Select Events

    Free shuttle service runs on the main Evanston campus to the Ryan Field/Welsh-Ryan Arena complex on Central Street for all home Wildcat football and men's basketball games. (The free shuttle service may be available for other select events. In this case, the free transportation will be mentioned in all advertisements and will follow the same pick-up/drop-off schedule as for men's basketball games.)

    The buses begin running approximately two hours before football games and 90 minutes before men's basketball games.

    The shuttle stops are at the following locations on campus:

    Campus Route

    1. Foster and Sheridan
    2. Garrett Parking Lot
    3. Noyes and Sheridan
    4. Patten Gym lot entrance area

    South Campus/Downtown Route (football only)

    1. Chicago and Clark (by the parking garage entrance)
    2. Arts Circle (by Regenstein)
    3. Orrington and Elgin/Clark (by Rebecca Crown)
    4. Sherman and University Pl
    5. Orrington and Church
    6. Maple and Clark

    During the games, buses will be parked at the drop-off location (Ashland Avenue, west of the Ryan Field/Welsh-Ryan Arena) for those who must leave early. The shuttles return to campus for approximately one hour following the conclusion of the game.

    Ryan Field Shuttle

    The Ryan Field Shuttle runs Monday-Friday during the academic year from 6:50 a.m. -8:00 p.m.

    The Purple Line Central stop is just a few block from Ryan Field and Welsh-Ryan Arena.
    The 201 Bus also picks up throughout campus and stops at Ryan Field.
