The medical care and well-being of each Northwestern student-athlete is managed by an amazingly talented staff of sports medicine providers that includes: Head Team Physician, Director of Athletic Training Services, five Assistant Team Physicians, 12 Staff Certified Athletic Trainers, one Physical Therapist/Certified Athletic Trainer and two Intern Certified Athletic Trainers.

Northwestern student-athletes also benefit from healthcare providers in fields such as sports psychology, sport nutrition and manipulative medicine. They also have access to many world-renowned medical specialists located right here within the Northwestern medical community should the need arise.
