Dr. Keeler Invitational -- Complete Results
EVANSTON, Ill. -- In the final outing of what has been a spring track season replete with personal bests, Northwestern cross country impressed once again at the Dr. Keeler Invitational at North Central College Thursday evening.
Highlighting the night for Northwestern was junior Audrey Huth's victory in the 5K race, which came in a personal-best time of 16:21.95, which ranks as the 70th-fastest time this spring by any Division I women's track performer and in the top 10 by a Big Ten runner. Senior Sophie Ewald was NU's next finisher in the 5K as Ewald achieved a personal-best time for the spring with a mark of 17:13.02 to take sixth place.
Janelle Li-A-Ping cruised to eighth with her time of 17:21.42 while Lauren Neuschel also had a strong performance, finishing 10th in 17:24.00.
In the 10K event, sophomore Lexie Goldsmith bested the field by nearly 40 seconds with a personal-best time of 35:21.15. Her classmate, Michelle Moriset, made her debut at the distance and recorded a mark of 36:23 to place ninth overall.

Next fall, Northwestern will look to translate its success during the spring track season to the cross country course, where it returns all its major contributors from a team that posted a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships.
