Margaret Bradley Invite -- Complete Results
CHICAGO -- Joining nine other area schools at Saturday's Margaret Bradley Invitational, Northwestern posted a host of fast times across four indoor track events to continue its competitive spring track schedule.
In the one-mile run, senior Audrey Huth led the way by dropping below five minutes and recording a time of 4:57.8. She was followed by junior Libby Kocha's effort of 5:02 and a time of 5:05.7 by freshman Jessie Baloga, who earlier this month represented Northwestern at the USA Cross Country Championships in St. Louis.
Huth and Baloga also finished 1-2 in the 3K race, where Huth crossed in 10:12.4 and Baloga followed suit in 10:21.7. Junior Nicole Oliver (10:23.5) and freshmen Megan O'Brien and Camille Blackman (10:24.4) rounded out Northwestern's top five finishers at the event.
Elsewhere on the track, Northwestern's
Julia Buford (18:11.2) and
Allison Jacobsen (18:38.3) repreented the 'Cats in the 5K event, while freshman
Niki Rhyan competed in the 800.
Complete results from Saturday's events at UChicago are linked at the top of the page. Northwestern will step away from competition this weekend before making a return trip to South Bend for Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invitational on Friday and Saturday, March 1-2.
