Northwestern Loses in Three to Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.-- The Northwestern volleyball team dropped to 10-3 (1-1) on the year after losing to Minnesota 15-9, 15-10 and 15-8.

It seems as though the Wildcats never really got into the match as they only hit .208 as a team. Although Carmen Burbach, who had 14 kills and a .300 hitting percentage and Sharon Fisk, who had 16 kills and hit .325, performed well.

Minnesota was just too tough though as they improved their record to 11-2 (1-1) hitting for a team combined .403.
