    Wildcats Beat Loyola

    EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's women's volleyball team beat Loyola Friday at home, in a hard fought match before the Wildcats prevailed 15-12, 6-15, 17-15 and 15-8. The win gives Northwestern a 7-2 record, while Loyola falls to 1-7.

    Sharon Fisk led the way for the Wildcats with a match-high 26 kills, helping her out was Jessica Halloway with 16 kills and 23 digs. Setter Liz Renius had 54 assists.

    Although Loyola had a good game defensively with 17 blocks compared to NU's four, it had just a .120 hitting percentage. Julie Wiejak had 15 kills, and Arian Adams had 11 kills to go with a team-high 15 digs.
