    Northwestern Volleyball Defeats Purdue, 3-1

    Northwestern picked up their fourth Big Ten win of the season with a 15-5, 9-15, 15-12, 16-14 win over Purdue in Welsh-Ryan Arena last night.

    NU was hot all night, hitting .376 for the match. Leah Ackerman led the way with 20 kills and a .486 hitting percentage. She also had 10 blocks. Carmen Burbach and Sharon Fisk had 18 kills apiece and Burbach added 11 digs. Jessica Holloway had 16 kills, giving her 1,014 for her career. She becomes only the fifth player in school history with 1,000 career digs and kills. She is the only player in school history to accomplish that feat before the end of her junior season. Melissa Doan chipped in with 10 kills and Liz Renius had 77 assists.
