    Wildcat Volleyball Loses at Ohio State

    Leah Ackerman Collects Three Blocks in the Loss

    COLUMBUS, OHIO -- The Northwestern volleyball team dropped to 11-9 overall, 2-7 Big Ten, after a 15-9, 15-13, 15-6 loss at Ohio State on Friday night.

    The Buckeyes improve to 14-7 overall, 5-4 Big Ten.

    Leah Ackerman was the most consistent Wildcat on the evening, collecting three kills on nine attempts, while adding three block assists and four digs. Jessica Holloway led NU with 10 kills and 12 digs.

    Freshman setter Jennifer Armson saw her first collegiate action, collecting one assist and one dig against the Buckeyes.

    The Wildcats close out the first half of the Big Ten season Saturday night at Purdue. NU returns home next Wed., Oct. 29, to face Michigan at 7:30 in Welsh-Ryan Arena.
