EVANSTON, Ill. - Freshman Audra Cohen (Plantation, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas) won her sixth straight match Wednesday, Oct. 6 at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championships in Pacific Palisades, Calif., improving to 10-0 on the fall season. Cohen beat Suzanna Lingman of Harvard 6-0, 6-2.

Cohen has not dropped a single set in all six matches of the championships, and has lost only one set all year -- to fellow teammate and No. 1 player in the country Cristelle Grier (Epsom, England/Putney). Cohen went on to beat Grier, though, in the finals of the Rice Classic and has since torn through the field at the All-American Championships.

With the win, Cohen moves into the main draw of the championships, which is set to begin Thursday, Oct. 7. Grier will see her first action in the main draw, as her No. 1 seed afforded her a bye.

22 of the top 25 players in the preseason ITA singles rankings are competing in this year's main draw in singles.
