EVANSTON, Ill. -
Northwestern head women's tennis coach Claire Pollard has announced the signing of Brooke Rischbieth to join the Wildcats for the upcoming 2013-14 season.
Rischbieth joins a talented recruiting class that was ranked No. 3 in the nation by TennisRecruiting.net prior to her signing.
"Brooke rounds off a spectacular class," Pollard said. "She will be an asset to us with her all-round game, her endless energy and her passion for playing on a team."
Rischbieth joins Jillian Rooney, Maddie Lipp and Manon Peri in Northwestern's stellar recruiting class.
Northwestern posted a 20-9 dual match record during the recently completed season. The Wildcats advanced to the round of 16 of the NCAA tournament for the 10th straight season and claimed a Big Ten title for the 15th consecutive year while finishing with a No. 12 team ranking.
