    EVANSTON, Ill. -- No. 16 Northwestern winds up its regular season this weekend as it travels to No. 27 Purdue on Friday before hosting No. 34 Indiana on Sunday.

    Friday's match gets underway at Schwartz Tennis Center in West Lafayette, Ind., at 2 p.m. Central time while Sunday's home finale is set for an 11 a.m. start. Seniors Linda Abu Mushrefova, Kate Turvy and Brittany Wowchuk will be honored during their final home match on Sunday.

    The Wildcats posted a pair of convincing road wins last weekend, posting a 5-2 win at No. 38 Penn State before defeating No. 62 Ohio State 6-1. NU took the doubles point against the Nittany Lions and got wins at Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6 singles, all in straight sets. The 'Cats were also victorious in doubles against the Buckeyes before posting five singles wins, including four in straight sets.

    Turvy is No. 49 in this week's ITA singles rankings, while Veronica Corning is No. 122. In doubles, Mushrefova and Nida Hamilton are ranked No. 18.

    NU is currently in third place in the Big Ten standings at 7-2, one game behind Nebraska and Michigan.

    Purdue enters the weekend tied for third place in the Big Ten at 7-2. The teams met in Evanston on Jan. 26 with the Wildcats posting a 4-3 win during the ITA Kick-Off Weekend. The Boilermakers' (15-3 overall) lone three dual losses this season are to the Wildcats as well as Big Ten leaders Michigan and Nebraska. The team of Krisztina Kapitany and Mara Schmidt is ranked No. 27 in doubles.

    Indiana (17-6, 6-3) hosts Illinois on Friday prior to heading to Evanston. The Hoosiers enter the weekend a game behind NU and Purdue in the conference standings. Indiana rolled to a pair of home wins last weekend, defeating Minnesota 6-1 and Wisconsin 7-0. Katie Klyczek is ranked No. 97 and Leslie Hureau is No. 119 in singles play, while Hureau and Sophie Garre are No. 87 in doubles.
