EVANSTON, Ill. -- No. 1 Northwestern will host its final dual match of the season at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 19. The match has been moved back three hours to accommodate for a scheduled Big Ten Network broadcasting.

The Wildcats (22-1, 9-0), who already have secured a share of the Big Ten regular season title, have an opportunity to clinch sole possession of the championship with a win this weekend. A victory also would ensure Northwestern its 60th-consecutive win over a Big Ten opponent, dating to 2004. The 'Cats have shown no sign of letting up on their conference foes, out-dueling the competition 50-4 in singles and 24-3 in doubles play this season.

Head coach Claire Pollard, who earned her 300th career win against Indiana on April 6, is in search of her fourth-consecutive 10-0 conference finish. In her 10-year tenure, Pollard boasts a 93-6 regular season Big Ten record.

In its last outing, Northwestern took to the road last weekend and swept a pair of conference matches, extending its winning streak to 16. On Saturday, the 'Cats were victorious, 6-1, at Iowa before a 7-0 decision over Minnesota on Sunday.

No. 60 Michigan State (13-10, 4-5) lost its last match against Penn State, 4-3. The Spartans, who currently stand at sixth place in the Big Ten, have two chances remaining to finish above .500 in conference play. In its program's history, Northwestern has dominated the all-time series with Michigan State, 31-1.

This weekend's match is part of the Women's Sport Weekend presented in part by the N Club at Northwestern. The Wildcats travel to West Lafayette, Ind. next week, April 24-27, in search of their record-breaking 10th-consecutive Big Ten Championship. Northwestern has secured the top-seed at the Championship and is scheduled to face the winner of the No. 8 vs. No. 9 match up at 9 a.m. Friday, April 25.
