USTA/ITA Indoors Singles Draw (PDF)
FLUSHING, N.Y. -
Northwestern senior Kate Turvy saw her run at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships come to an end in the round of 16 Friday morning.
After winning a hard-fought three-set match in her opener on Thursday, Turvy suffered a 6-2, 6-4 loss to fifth-seeded Robin Anderson of UCLA. Anderson entered the fall with an ITA preseason ranking of No. 3 in the nation, while Turvy was ranked No. 12.
The match wraps up the fall season for the Northwestern women's tennis team. The Wildcats return to action Jan. 19-21 when they participate in the Virginia Invite in Charlottesville, Va.
