Veronica Corning won her singles match at No. 1 over No. 61 Lauren Mira in dominant fashion, winning 6-1, 6-2. The defending Big Ten Women's Tennis Player of the Week captured her third straight victory over a ranked opponent and moved to 3-0 on the young dual season.
