EVANSTON, Ill. -- Seniors Kassia Shishkoff (Raleigh, N.C./St. David's School) and Emily Wong (Nepean, Ontario/St. Joseph's) have qualified to represent Northwestern at the 2010 NCAA Championships March 18-20 in West Lafayette, Ind.

Both Shishkoff and Wong will be making their third appearances at the NCAA meet after going in both their freshman and sophomore seasons. The duo helped Northwestern to a 19th-place national finish in 2008, where Wong earned three All-America honors and Shishkoff picked up a pair.

Shishkoff will compete in the 200 free, 500 free and 200 fly events in 2010 while Wong will swim the 50, 100 and 200 freestyles. Still in the hunt for an NCAA Championships berth is freshman diver Felicitas Lenz (Altadena, Calif./Polytechnic Schol), who will compete at the NCAA Zone C Diving meet March 12-14 in West Lafayette, Ind.

Shishkoff earned entry on the strength of an NCAA `B' provisional qualifying time of 1:46.50 in the 200 free, giving her the 25th seed in the event. She is seeded 37th in the 200 fly and 51st in the 500 free.

Wong made the most of a Feb. 28 last chance meet hosted by Ohio State, leading off Northwestern's long-course meter 200 free relay with a short-course yard converted 50 free time of 22.56, earning the 31st overall seed in the event and entry into the NCAA field. Wong also is the 50th seed in the 100 free and 51st in the 200 free.
