Wildcats get strong performances from young swimmers during meet's second day
2014-15: Member of Northwestern’s backstroke group … Ranks second on the team in the 100 back and fifth in the 200 back following the regular season … Qualified for the championship final in all three backstroke events held at Northwestern’s own TYR Invitational (11/21-11/23) … Best performance came in the 100 back where Doyle swam a career-best 56.47 in the ‘A’ final to place fourth overall … Also had a sixth-place finish in the 50 back and scored eighth-place points in the 200 back at the TYR.
2013-14: Posted a top time for 'Cats in 100 back, swimming third fastest time on the team with 56.59 swim at Big Tens (2/21), finishing No. 43...Swam in 50 free, 100 back and 200 back at Big Ten Championships...Continued to trim down time on 200 back throughout year, posting season best time of 2:04.00 to finish No. 49 at Big Tens...Posted 24.75 time in 50 free at Big Tens (2/20)...Swam in 50, 100 and 200 back at TYR, reaching finals in all three...Finished No. 7 in 200 back vs. WKU (10/25) 2:13.96 and No. 7 in 50 free vs. Wisconsin (25.78).
