EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern returns home to Sharon J. Drysdale Field this weekend, May 1-2, to host Penn State live in high definition on the Big Ten Network. Saturday's game begins at 1 p.m. CT while first pitch on Sunday is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT.

The Wildcats also will play host to Wildcat Women's Sport Reunion Weekend ceremonies during Saturday's game. Former female letterwinners from across all of Northwestern's women's athletic programs will be on hand at the game. Also, Saturday is Scout Day at the ballpark, with a variety of activities available to help the Scouts earn badges.

Northwestern swept its last two conference series, taking a pair of games from Michigan State and a single contest against Indiana after the second game of that series was rained out. The Wildcats also topped nonconference foe Illinois-Chicago Wednesday in Evanston. Penn State enters this weekend coming off a sweep at the hands of Syracuse. The Nittany Lions are 7-7 overall in Big Ten play.

Senior pitcher Lauren Delaney earned the 96th win of her career Wednesday against UIC, putting her one win away from matching the career victories record at NU. The mark currently is held by Lisa Ishikawa (1984-87) and Eileen Canney (2004-07), both of whom went on to pitch for the USA Softball Women's National Team (Ishikawa in 1985 and Canney in 2010).

After hosting Penn State, Northwestern will travel down to Lincoln Park on Wednesday, May 5, to play a single game at DePaul. First pitch for that contest is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT.
