EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's nonconference game at UIC today (Monday, April 1) has been postponed due to poor weather. Both teams are pursuing a mutual date to reschedule the contest later in the spring.

NU will instead return to action at 4 p.m. CT tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2, in a nonconference showdown with Loyola (Chicago) at Sharon J. Drysdale Field in Evanston. The Wildcats then welcome Illinois to "The J" for a B1G series Friday through Sunday, April 5-7.

Northwestern is coming off a series victory over Minnesota last weekend in which sophomore Amy Letourneau (Laguna Niguel, Calif./Santa Margarita Catholic) tossed her first-career no-hitter in a win on Friday before NU again prevailed in Sunday's finale that was televised live on BTN.
