EVANSTON, Ill. -- Join Northwestern Softball on April 27, 2013, for the seventh annual PURPLE AUCTION to be held in Welsh-Ryan Arena following the Wildcats' home game against Purdue! With great food, drinks and outstanding auction items, this is THE event to celebrate Northwestern Softball!

The PURPLE AUCTION, with great food, drinks and outstanding auction items, is our seventh-annual event celebrating Northwestern Softball. This event will bring together current players, former players, stakeholders, friends and family of our program to celebrate the rich tradition and exciting future of Northwestern Softball.

The day begins with fantastic NUSB action during a game against Big Ten foe Purdue at Sharon J. Drysdale Field. Then, immediately after, come inside Welsh-Ryan Arena for dinner, an open bar and a silent auction. Northwestern seniors Meghan Lamberth (Wildwood, Mo./Lafayette) and Kristin Scharkey (Yorba Linda, Calif./Esperanza) along with junior Lauren Tyndall (Edmond, Okla./Edmond Memorial), who is graduating after three years in Evanston, will be honored first during the auction festivities then again prior to the Senior Day game on Sunday, April 28.

Admission to the ballpark is $7 for adults, $4 for youth/seniors and $3 for groups of 15 or more. The dinner and auction is $50 per person ($20 for children 16 & under).

Registration and donation forms are available for download at the top of this page! Past auction items have included autographed sports memorabilia, prime tickets to sporting events (Cubs, Bulls, Bears, etc.) and concerts (The Eagles, Carrie Underwood, Bruce Springsteen, etc.), dinners with the coaching staff, golf packages and even vacation deals to Mexico and Los Angeles!
