EVANSTON, Ill. -- At least 17 Northwestern baseball, lacrosse and softball games will be televised or streamed by the Big Ten Network in 2012, once again setting a school record for broadcast coverage for the spring season.

The full Big Ten Network spring television schedules were released Thursday, along with Northwestern's home schedule for the Big Ten Digital Network. Additional wild card television games and road streams will be announced at a later date. Northwestern will also offer streams of additional home games on NUsports.com, with coverage details to be announced later.

Northwestern baseball will have at least two games televised live on the Big Ten Network this spring, including Senior Day against Indiana on Sunday, May 13 from Rocky Miller Park. BTN will also televise a wild card baseball game and the entire 2012 Big Ten baseball tournament.

Eight Wildcat lacrosse games will be streamed or televised in 2012, including live TV coverage of Northwestern's April 13th game against North Carolina at Lakeside Field. Six home games will stream live on the Big Ten Digital Network and may be televised on tape-delay as part of the BTN StudentU initiative.

Softball will see coverage for at least ten games, including seven from Sharon J. Drysdale Field. BTN will televise two doubleheaders, including an April 7th twin bill against Iowa.

Big Ten Digital Network broadcasts are live, student-produced internet streams available on Wildcats All-Access on NUsports.com and btn.com. A subscription to Wildcats All-Access is required to watch the BTDN streams, which are also available on demand after the conclusion of the game.

A schedule of announced spring broadcasts is listed below. Additional games may be picked up and coverage information will be added to the sport schedule page on NUsports.com.
