EVANSTON, Ill. -- Senior Amanda Hoffman (North Tustin, Calif./Foothill) has been named to the SoccerBuzz Magazine Team of the Week for her three-goal performance against DePaul last Sunday. Hoffman's five goals and 10 points lead the Wildcats through seven games this season.

Hoffman has enjoyed a renaissance in her senior year, leading the Wildcats in points and goals through seven games this season. She entered 2008 with zero goals and one assist through three years at NU and now sits with five goals after a hat trick last Sunday.

Her hat trick was the first for NU since 2004 and only the sixth in program history.
