EVANSTON, Ill. -- With the Wildcats set to officially report to campus on Wednesday (Sept. 11), Northwestern women's lacrosse and five-time national coach of the year Kelly Amonte Hiller have announced their slate of competitions for the 2013 fall ball season.

Fans of the seven-time national champions have multiple opportunities to see the 'Cats live at Lakeside Field in Evanston this fall, beginning at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, when Northwestern hosts a familiar foe in the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. The following week, Northwestern will welcome second-year Division I program Marquette to Lakeside at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8. Both games are free and open to the general public.

Northwestern's first outside competition of the fall season comes in the form of a double-header in Indianapolis on Sunday, Sept. 29. Hosted at Park Tudor School in Indy, the day-long women's lacrosse event begins at 11 a.m. and features Northwestern, Notre Dame and NU's fellow American Lacrosse Conference member Ohio State.

NU's second road trip this fall will take the Wildcats to the campus of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., where on Saturday, Oct. 12, the 'Cats will match up with several opponents at the all-day Navy Playday event. On Sunday (Oct. 13), Northwestern will stay in Annapolis to take on defending NCAA champion North Carolina at noon ET.

The Wildcats will wrap the fall schedule by taking on their talented predecessors and former teammates in the annual Northwestern Lacrosse Alumni Game. The matchup will take place Friday, Oct. 18, at Lakeside Field, with opening draw scheduled for 8:30 p.m. The game is free and open to the public.
