EVANSTON, Ill. - The postseason honors keep rolling in for the Northwestern women's lacrosse team. This time, it is womenslacrosse.com that is giving the Wildcats national prominence.

The website, which is devoted to women's lacrosse, named its postseason honorees as well as its All-America Teams for 2004.

Senior defender Courtney Koester was a first-team All-America honoree, while freshman Kristen Kjellman was a second-team member. In addition, Kjellman was named to the womenslacrosse.com All-Freshman Team along with classmate Emily Lovett.

Kjellman was also honored as the womenslacrosse.com National Co-Rookie of the Year, sharing the award with Mary Key from fellow American Lacrosse Conference memmber Johns Hopkins. Finally, head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller was named the National Coach of the Year.

In both Kjellman's and Amonte Hiller's case, the awards are the second such honors -- earlier this week, they were named National Rookie and Coach of the Year, respectively, by Inside Lacrosse.
