'Big Ten Icons' Spotlight Shines on Amonte Hiller Saturday
In a year-long series that debuted last fall, the Big Ten Network is profiling one coach from each of the 12 conference schools whom it considers to be a Big Ten Icon. Kelly Amonte Hiller is Northwestern's representative on the list and is the subject of a 30-minute feature that debuts this Saturday (Feb. 18) at 8:30 p.m. CT on BTN.

Kelly Amonte Hiller was chosen as Northwestern's representative on BTN's list of 12 all-time coaching icons.

Erin Fitzgerald was one of two Wildcats to come away with a hat trick in NUs season-opening road win at Stanford.

Wildcats Break Away From Sixth-Ranked Cardinal, 18-6, in Opener
Top-ranked Northwestern handled a challenging season-opening road test with relative ease Friday night, outscoring No. 6 Stanford 11-2 in the second half to secure an 18-6 victory at Cagan Stadium in California. Senior Shannon Smith and junior Erin Fitzgerald each posted hat tricks to lead a group of 12 Wildcat goal-scorers.
