EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern continues its challenging fall schedule this weekend, heading to Albuquerque, N.M., to compete in the 30th annual Branch Law Firm Dick McGuire Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19, and Sunday Sept. 20. This will be the first time the Wildcats are competing in the Dick McGuire and are looking to build off their strong fourth-place finish at the Mary Fossum Invitational last weekend.

Hosted by the University of New Mexico, the 54-hole tournament will be played at the UNM Championship Course, a par-73 which measures 6,187 yards. The opening two rounds will be played Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. CT, with the final 18 getting underway at 8:30 a.m. CT Sunday morning.

The 18-team field will be one of the most challenging the Wildcats will see during the fall season, with Pepperdine (No. 14), Arkansas (No. 16), host New Mexico (No. 22) and UC Irvine (No. 30) all boasting Golfweek top-30 rankings, and TCU (No. 31), UNLV (No. 33), San Francisco (No. 34), Oregon (No. 35), Texas A&M (36) and Colorado (No. 47) among the top-50. UC Davis, Colorado State, Indiana, Oklahoma, San Diego State, UTEP and Wyoming round out the field.

Sophomore Alexandra Lederhausen (Hinsdale, Ill./Central) is coming off a 13th-place finish at the Mary Fossum Invitational, posting three-straight rounds of 2-over 74 to finish at six-over. Freshman Lauren Weaver (Scottsdale, Ariz./Cactus Shadows) was impressive in her first collegiate tournament, placing 16th at 9-over.

Juniors Rebecca Lederhausen (Hinsdale, Ill./Central) and Innapha Tantanavivat (Bangkok, Thailand/David Leadbetter Academy) and sophomore Kylie Fuller (Temecula, Calif./Chapparal) will round out the scorecard once again for Northwestern. Both Lederhausen and Fuller finished among the top-30 at the Mary Fossum, placing 26th and 29th respectively, with Tantanavivat finishing 33rd. The three contributed to a solid opening weekend for the 'Cats, finishing within three strokes of each other.
