    Duramed Collegiate Invitational - First Round Standings

    Behind sophomore Rebecca Lederhausen's (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale Central) 4-over 74, Northwestern sits in a three-way tie for ninth-place at the Duramed Collegiate Invitational. The Wildcats put together a 28-over 312 through the first 18 holes of competition and sit one stroke back of four teams for fifth.

    Lederhausen is tied for eighth overall, shooting even-par on 14 of the 18 first-round holes, while fellow sophomore Kelsey Lindenschmidt (West Chester, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) sits one stroke back at 5-over 76. Sophomore Innapha Tantanavivat (Bangkok, Thailand/David Leadbetter Academy) started off the tournament with a bang for Northwestern, scoring an eagle on her first hole of the tournament (the par-5 ninth) and is at 8-over 79 after the opening round. Senior Jennifer Hong (Windermere, Fla./The First Academy) sits at 11-over 82 while freshman Kylie Fuller (Temecula, Calif./Chapparal) shot a 16-over 87).

    The Wildcats enter the second round tied with Big Ten rival Minnesota and Arkansas Little-Rock in the ninth-place gridlock, all three of which are one stroke back of Ball State, Cincinnati, Illinois State and Kansas State for fifth-place. Kansas has jumped out to the early lead, shooting a 10-over 294 through the opening 18 holes, building a 10-stroke gap between itself and second-place Toledo (20-over, 304). Northern Arizona (24-over, 308) and Eastern Michigan (26-over, 310) round out the top four.
