    Fall Wildcat Women's Sport Weekend Set For Sept. 16-18

    EVANSTON, Ill. -- Next weekend (September 16-18) is Wildcat Women's Sport Weekend sponsored by the N Club as women's soccer, field hockey and volleyball all will compete at home. In addition to free admission at the soccer and field hockey games, admission to the volleyball matches has been reduced to $2.

    The weekend also will feature $1 Vienna Beef hot dogs, special contests and promotions, and a FREE Exercise and Sports Clinic for kids in the 8th grade and under following the field hockey game on Sunday. All participants in the clinic will receive a free t-shirt and snack after the clinic.

    In an effort to recognize the inspirational women in our community, the Wildcats are accepting nominations for the first Women Who Inspire Awards to be presented throughout the weekend.

Be sure to include your name, phone number, e-mail address, the name of your nominee, the nominee's phone number or e-mail address, and a brief paragraph about how or why the nominee inspires you. Feel free to nominate more than one person.

    Women's Soccer vs. Central Michigan @ 4 p.m.
    Volleyball vs. Southern Illinois @ 7 p.m.

    Saturday, September 17
    Volleyball vs. Brown @ 10 a.m.
    Volleyball vs. Kentucky @ 7 p.m.

    Sunday, September 18
    Field Hockey vs. Louisville @ 11 a.m.
    Kids in the 8th grade and under can stay after the game for a FREE Exercise & Sports Clinic followed by snacks with the student-athletes. Meet the student-athletes and hear how they became interested in sports!
