EVANSTON, Ill. -- Make plans for the fall and secure season tickets to cheer on the Northwestern field hockey, volleyball, men's and women's soccer programs in Evanston. Season ticket packages for all four programs went on sale at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1.
Fans can purchase season tickets now by calling the Northwestern ticket office at 1-888-GO-PURPLE, by visiting NU's online ticket sales office or by filling out a ticket order forms.
Season ticket pricing is the same for all four sports as adult tickets are available for $49 while youth seats can be purchased for just $29. Northwestern also offers a family plan, which admits two adults and three youths at a total cost of $99. Single-event tickets can be purchased as well. Individual tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for youth. Volleyball plays its home matches at Welsh-Ryan Arena, while both soccer programs and the field hockey team play at Lakeside Field at the Leonard B. Thomas Athletic Complex.
NU volleyball season ticket holders will receive a unique gift as well as invitation to an exclusive postgame party and Q&A session with head coach Keylor Chan. Season ticket holders also will have access to a volleyball e-newsletter produced by the coaching staff. The 2014 schedule features 15 matches at Welsh-Ryan Arena, including 10 Big Ten contests. The 'Cats will play their first home matches on Sept. 12 when they welcome Youngstown State (noon) and Loyola (7 p.m.) for the Wildcat Classic. Northwestern will also host both Rutgers and Maryland for the first time ever in September and welcome the defending NCAA champions, Penn State, to close out the home slate in late November.
Men's soccer season ticket holders will once again receive a limited edition Northwestern Soccer scarf and an invitation to an exclusive event. In search of a fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament berth, the Wildcats begin an eight-match home schedule on Friday, Aug. 29 at Lakeside Field against Quinnipiac. Chicago's Big Ten Team, now in its 35th season, has an exciting home schedule that also includes visits from the 2014 NCAA runners-up, Maryland, on Oct. 5 and the 2013 Big Ten champions, Penn State, on Nov. 2.
Women's soccer season ticket holders will also receive a limited edition Northwestern Soccer scarf and an invitation to an exclusive event. Northwestern's home schedule features nine matches at Lakeside Field, including a visit from 2013 NCAA Tournament team Indiana on Sept. 21. The match against the Hoosiers will be part of the team's alumni weekend as the team celebrates 20 years of Northwestern women's soccer (1994-2014). The team will host a "Coach's Corner" before every home game this season, where season ticket holders will meet with the staff and discuss the game plan for the upcoming contest.
NU's Big Ten defending champion field hockey team will play eight home matches in 2014 beginning on Sept. 5 against Dartmouth. The Wildcats will host four Big Ten matches, including contests against conference newcomers Maryland (Sept. 20) and Rutgers (Sept. 26).
