    EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's fall fencing programs teach fencing fundamentals in a fun atmosphere. The programs are for people of all ages who would like to try the sport, and for experienced fencers who would like to improve their skills.

    A typical session includes a warm-up, stretching, footwork, light conditioning and one-on-one lessons. Coaches include Northwestern University head fencing coach Laurie Schiller, assistant coach Ed Kaihatsu, camps/clinics coach Rob Lichten and others.

    Clinics will be held Tuesday Nights, September 27 through November 15, 6:30pm-8:00pm each night. The programs are held in Evanston at Patten Gym (2407 Sheridan Road).

    Northwestern University Fencing Clinics:

    - Provide an opportunity to improve your fencing skills and abilities in a fun atmosphere!
    - Welcome fencers at all skill levels, including people who are new to the sport of fencing!
    - Strive for a good coach-fencer ratio in order to provide constructive and detailed instruction for every fencer!
    - Will provide fencing equipment if needed!
