EVANSTON, Ill. -- After a key 61-60 win at home over Minnesota Sunday afternoon, the Wildcats head to Bloomington for a 6 p.m. CT battle with the Hoosiers Thursday evening. The game will be streamed live on www.bigtennetwork.com.

Sophomore Brittany Orban calmly sank a free throw with four seconds on the clock to give Northwestern a 61-60 victory over Minnesota Sunday in front of a raucous crowd of 1,332 at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Orban led all scorers with 14 points--including 11 in the second stanza--while also adding five rebounds and three assists. Northwestern shot a sparkling 47 percent from the field and found more than half of its points in the paint.

Last Time Against The Hoosiers
Feb. 19, 2009---Maggie Mocchi poured in a career-best 19 points and two other Wildcats turned in double-digit performances but it was not enough as Indiana downed Northwestern, 85-67, at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Meshia Reed and Brittany Orban tallied 13 points each. The Hoosiers used an outrageous 11-of-14 effort (74 percent) from beyond the arc to claim the victory down the stretch.
Indiana opened the Big Ten season with a huge 68-63 win at Michigan State but have since flattened out, dropping four of their last six against conference foes.
Leading the way for the Hoosiers is junior guard Jori Davis, whose 17.1 ppg ranks fourth in the Big Ten. Davis is also second in minutes played per conference game, averaging just under 37 minutes per outing.
Indiana comes into Thursdays match leading the Big Ten in rebounding offense in conference play, and are second in defensive rebounding against Big Ten opponents
The Hoosiers are coming off a 81-64 loss at Ohio State Sunday. Three Hoosiers scored in double digits, with Davis' 17 points leading the way.
Jaeschke Nearing 1,000th Point-Plateau
Junior Amy Jaeschke needs just 12 points to notch the 1,000th point of her career. She pulled down her 500th career rebound in the first half against Ohio State on Dec. 31, 2009 and swatted her 200th career block against Penn State on Jan. 3. Jaeschke also needs just six blocks to become NU's all-time career blocks leader.
