    Northwestern Women's Hoops Earns Second Big Ten Win, Beats Ohio State 76-60

    EVANSTON, Ill.-- Northwesternís Kristina Divjak and Megan Chawansky poured in 19 and 17 points, respectively, as the Wildcats (7-17, 2-10 Big Ten) beat Ohio State (13-7, 6-5 Big Ten), 76-60 on Friday night in Welsh-Ryan Arena.

    All five Northwestern starters scored in double figures. Ohio State dominated most of the first half, led by guard Marrita Porter who had 19 points at the end of the half. Chawansky hit a jumper with 6:42 minutes on the clock to bring the Wildcats up by one, 26-25. NU held a 38-35 lead at halftime.

    The Wildcats picked up more momentum in the second half, shooting 57 percent (17-30) from the field against Ohio Stateís 36 percent (10-28). NU guard Amber DeWall earned her third double-double on the year with 10 points, 10 assists and a team-high eight rebounds. Porter led the Buckeyes with a game-high 26 points and seven boards, while teammate Larecha Jones had 17 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.

    NU hosts Iowa on Sunday while Ohio State hosts Michigan State.
