    No. 11 Wisconsin Holds Off Northwestern Before Record Crowd

    EVANSTON, Ill. -- Wisconsin guard Katie Voigt led all scorers with 20 points and 10 rebounds and the Badgers outrebounded Northwestern 49-36 as UW held off a late NU rally to take a 70-65 victory Friday night. The game was played before 3,665 fans, a Northwestern women's single game attendance record.

    NU led 38-33 at halftime on the strength of forward Kristina Divjak's 13 points including a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point range. Wisconsin used a 10-0 run early in the second half to take a 47-42 lead with 15:16 remaining. Northwestern closed the gap to four points late in the contest but was unable to overtake the Badgers.

    Divjak led NU with 19 points, while Megan Chawansky scored 17 and added a team high 8 rebounds. UW's Kelley Paulus and Ann Klapperich scored 13 points apiece. UW improves to 13-4, 2-3 Big Ten, while NU falls to 5-13, 0-6 Big Ten.
