    Northwestern Women's Basketball Loses 81-70 to Marquette

    EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Northwestern Wildcats women's basketball team lost 81-70 Sunday afternoon to the Marquette Golden Eagles at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Junior guard Kristina Divjak led the 'Cats with 22 points and point guard Amber DeWall contributed 11 on 4-of-8 shooting. Northwestern fell to 2-3 on the season. Marquette improves to 2-1.

    After being down by 10 early, Northwestern regained the lead in the midrn regained the lead in the midst of a 20-4 run and at the half held a 34-30 lead.     The Wildcats continue the regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 25 when theWestern Kentucky; thue the regular season on Tuesday, Nov. 25 when they travel to Western Kentucky. Their next home game is Fri., Dec. 5 at 7 p.m., as they take on Eastern Illinois in the first round of the Roger L. White Invitational.
