    Northwestern Women's Hoops Pack the Place Night Set for Friday

    Athletic department to provide student shuttles for the game

    EVANSTON, Ill. -- The first-ever Northwestern women's hoops "Pack the Place" night will take place this Fri., Jan. 16, when NU hosts 11th-ranked Wisconsin at 7 p.m. in Welsh-Ryan Arena. The Northwestern athletic department will sponsor student shuttle buses from campus to Welsh-Ryan Arena. Northwestern students are admitted free to all Wildcat women's basketball games with their Wildcard ID. The shuttles will begin running at 5:30 p.m. on Friday night and will operate from the usual campus stops:

    1. Sherman and University Place
    2. Sheridan and Emerson
    3. Sheridan and Foster
    4. Sheridan and Noyes
    5. Sheridan and Lincoln

    For non-NU students, general admission seats for this game are just $1. Tickets may be purchased through the NU ticket office at (847) 491-CATS, or at the Welsh-Ryan Arena box office beginning at 6 p.m. Northwestern junior forward and All-America candidate Kristina Divjak currently leads the Big Ten in scoring (22.0 ppg) and three pointers made per game (2.9), and is second in the Big Ten in three-point percentage (.416). Wildcat senior guard Amber DeWall leads the Big Ten in assists with 5.9 per contest.
