    Wildcats Host the Big Ten's Leader in Scoring, Rebounding and Assists

    EVANSTON, Ill. -- Some of the Big Ten's top women's basketball players will battle Fri., Jan. 2, when Northwestern hosts Michigan at 7 p.m. in Welsh-Ryan Arena. UM is currently 9-3, 1-1 Big Ten, while NU is 4-7 overall, 0-0 Big Ten.

    Northwestern junior forward Kristina Divjak (Dyer, Ind./Lake Central) currently leads the Big Ten in scoring (22.8 ppg), three pointers made per game (2.8) and three point percentage (.392). Wildcat senior guard Amber DeWall (St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park) leads the Big Ten in assists (6.2 apg) and is third in the Big Ten in assist-to-turnover margin.

    Michigan senior center Pollyanna Johns (Evanston, Ill./Evanston Township) leads the Big Ten in rebounding (9.3 rpg) and is second in scoring behind Divjak at 20.8 ppg. Johns also leads the conference in field goal percentage (.642).

    Reserved seats are $5 each, while general admission tickets are $4 for adults and $2 for children.
