    EVANSTON, Ill. -- Michael Fiandaca, a 1980 graduate of Northwestern, will be inducted into Saint Patrick High School's Shamrock Hall of Fame on April 25, 2008. Fiandaca lettered four years for NU and placed sixth in the Big Ten Championships.

    Fiandaca, a defensive back in football, was named team MVP and was All-State Honorable Mention in Football. Mike was equally talented on the mats. As a varsity wrestler, he was voted team MVP and he earned 1st Place All-Conference, IHSA District Champion, 2nd Place IHSA Sectional, and was a State Qualifer.

    Fiandaca will be joined in his Hall of Fame Class by former Wildcat football standout and current St. Louis Ram Tim McGarigle.
