    EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern, ranked No. 10 in the nation by Intermat, hosts Stanford at Welsh-Ryan Arena Sunday during Senior Day, as the Wildcats honor the seniors who will be competing in their final home dual of their collegiate careers. The Wildcats (6-7, 1-7) also feature the nation’s top-ranked heavyweight, Mike McMullan, who has gone 9-1 this season.

    Northwestern enters this week ranked No. 10 by Intermat and No. 23 in the NWCA Coaches Poll. The ‘Cats feature five wrestlers ranked in the Top 20 in their respective weight classes by Intermat, No. 4 Jason Tsirtsis at 149 lbs., No. 7 Pierce Harger at 165, No. 15 174-pounder Lee Munster, Alex Polizzi, No. 17 at 197 lbs. and No. 1 heavyweight Mike McMullan

    From the Bay Area to Lake Michigan
    Northwestern welcomes the Stanford this weekend. The Cardinal has gone 17-4 on the season and 4-1 in the Pac-12, with eight consecutive dual victories dating back to January 18. The last time out, Stanford defeated South Dakota State 20-14 and Cal Poly 24-9 on Feb. 9.

    Senior Send Off
    Northwestern’s class of seniors this year features Kevin Bialka, Pat Greco and David Helmer, who will be competing in their final home dual of their NU careers Sunday at Welsh-Ryan Arena. 

    Kevin Bialka
    During his Northwestern career Kevin Bialka has won 30 matches, with two wins this season. Wrestling at 157 and 165 lbs., Bialka opened the ‘Cats season with wins against the University of Chicago and Stevens Tech. From Lockport, Ill., Bialka is majoring in business institutions, economics and sociology. 

    Pat Greco
    A two-time Academic Big Ten selection, Pat Greco qualified for the 2013 NCAA Championships at 141 lbs. after finishing in sixth place in the Big Ten Championships to earn an automatic bid. He has won 12 matches this season with three major decisions and a tech fall victory for the ‘Cats on the year. Greco has won 36 matches at Northwestern during his career. He finished in sixth place at Midlands this season, winning four matches in the historic tournament including two wins against top seeded opponents.  From St. Charles, Ill., Greco is majoring in political science. 

    David Helmer
    From McLean, Va., David Helmer is majoring in business institutions and sociology. The 157-pounder has won 10 bouts in his NU career, with two coming this season. Helmer recorded two tournament wins for NU this season at Midlands and the Keystone Classic.
