In total, 10 NU wrestlers placed, helping the Wildcats score 156.0 team points to run away with the team title. Runner-up Penn tallied 102.5 while third-place Rider had 91.0 points.
Freshman Dominick Malone (125), senior Jason Welch (157) and sophomores Pierce Harger (165) and Lee Munster (174) each took home titles at their respective weight classes. Welch, Harger and Munster all received No. 1 seeds while Malone entered the tournament as the No. 6 seed.

The Granby, Conn., native then captured the title with a 6-4 win in sudden victory over No. 1 seed Mark Rappo of Penn.
Welch and Harger each won five matches to win their weight class while Munster needed four bouts for the 174 lbs. title. All three remain undefeated on the season as Welch and Harger are 6-0 and Munster is now 5-0.
