EVANSTON, Ill. -- Following three straight victories last weekend, No. 31 Northwestern will compete in the ITA Indoor Qualifying Rounds this weekend at the University of Oklahoma. As part of the sixth annual ITA Kick-off Weekend, 120 teams from all over the country will contend at 25 different host sites. The top 30 schools win berths to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships, which will occur in mid-February.

The Wildcats face a very competitive flight. Northwestern takes on No. 24 Tulsa first on Saturday at 10 a.m. Depending on the outcome, they will meet No. 9 Oklahoma or No. 37 Virginia Tech on Sunday.

Like Northwestern, Tulsa has an undefeated season so far, having won all four of their matches last weekend. They have one ranked player in No. 71 Carlos Bautista. The Hurricane went 16-8 last year and reached the second round of the NCAA Team Championships.

Oklahoma went 21-7 last spring and made a trip to the sweet sixteen of the NCAA Championships. The Sooners boast four ranked singles players this year, two of which are in the top five. Virginia Tech posted a 16-10 finish last year and made a second round appearance at the NCAAs. There are three ranked Hokies heading into this weekend.
