    Men's Tennis at Big Ten Tournament

    Wildcats fall in final to Illinois, 4-1.

    CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Northwestern mens tennis team, ranked No. 28 nationally, fell to No. 9 Illinois, 4-1, in the finals of the Big Ten mens tennis tournament. The top-seeded Illini won the doubles point and captured three singles wins en route to the victory. NUs lone singles win of the day was at No. 5 singles with Martin Bengtsson defeating Jakub Teply, 6-2, 6-3.

    The Cats now await a bid to the NCAA Regional held in Notre Dame, Ind., on May 15-17.
