    Men's Tennis Advances to Finals of Big Ten Tournament

    CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Northwestern men's tennis team, ranked No. 28 nationally, defeated Purdue, 4-0, at the Big Ten Tennis Tournament. The 'Cats take on the winner of the Illinois/Michigan match in the finals on Sunday at 1 p.m.

    The second-seeded 'Cats swept the doubles point and won the number three, four and five singles spots en route to the victory over third-seeded Purdue. Ry Tarpley, playing at No. 3 singles, defeated Derek Myers, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3.
