    Men's Tennis Advances to Semifinals of Big Ten Tournament

    Second-Seeded 'Cats Upend Seventh-Seeded Indiana, 4-1

    CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The Northwestern men's tennis team, ranked No. 28 nationally, advanced to the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament by defeating seventh-seeded Indiana, 4-1. The 'Cats now take on third-seeded Purdue on Saturday, May 2, at 9 a.m.

    Against Indiana, the 'Cats won the doubles point and defeated the Hoosiers at the Nos. 1, 2 and 4 singles positions. Big Ten Player of the Year Marc Silva defeated Gabriel Montilla, 7-5, 6-2, at the No. 2 singles spot.
