No. 21 Wildcat Men's Tennis Picks Up Two Wins on the Weekend

EVANSTON, Ill. -- The men's tennis team, ranked No. 21 nationally, picked up two wins this weekend. NU defeated #48 (t) Purdue (5-2) and #62 Ball State (6-1).

The 'Cats swept three singles matches and the doubles point against the Boilermakers and five of six singles matches and all three doubles matches against the Cardinals.

Juniors Marc Silva (#1/2), who is ranked #35 nationally, and Ry Tarpley (#4) went 2-0 on the weekend. Silva and junior Doug Bohaboy (#2) and Tarpley and freshman Derrick Nguyen (#3) each went 2-0 in doubles competition. The following are the results
