    Shropshire's Run Ends at ITA All-American Championships

    TULSA, Okla. -- Monday saw freshman Sam Shropshire’s outing at the ITA All-American Championships come to a close as he fell in the final round of prequalifying. Shropshire played a very tough first game, but ultimately fell to Virginia’s Jordan Daigle 7-6 (3), 6-0.

    Shropshire had an impressive run in Tulsa, winning three straight matches over the weekend. Teammates sophomore Mihir Kumar, junior Alex Pasareanu, and freshman Konrad Zieba also competed for Northwestern at the tournament.

    The Northwestern men’s tennis team returns to action Oct. 17-21 in Columbus, Ohio, where they will participate in the ITA Regional Championships.
