GRAND CAYMAN ISLAND -- Northwestern rising sophomore Jordan Wilimovsky (Malibu, Calif./Malibu) completed his final open water meet before the 2013 FINA World Championships at the Flowers Sea Swim June 15-17 on Grand Cayman Island where he finished second in both the one mile and 10K races.

Wilimovsky, one of the featured Elite Swimmers on the Flowers Sea Swim website, was one of 882 people lined up at Seven Mile Beach for the June 15 start of the mile race. He finished as runner-up in the mile just 41 hundredths of a second behind Joey Pedraza; both Pedraza (16:52.45) and Wilimovsky (16:52.86) went under the established course record in the meet.
