    NCAA Championships Notes Get Acrobat Reader

    EVANSTON, Ill.-- The University of Texas hosts the NCAA Championships at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas from March 27-29.

    Northwestern sophomore Jordan Wilimovsky will represent the Wildcats at the national championships for the second consecutive season. The championships begin each day with an 11:00 a.m. prelims session followed by the evening finals at 7:00 p.m.

    Wilimovsky (Malibu, Calif./Malibu) punched his ticket to his second career invite in as many seasons by breaking his own school record in the 1,650 yard freestyle, posting an NCAA “A” Cut qualifying time of 14:42.99. He finished No. 2 in the Big Ten and the time ranks as the third fastest time in the nation in the event. At the NCAA Championships, the 1,650 freestyle begins at 4:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 29 with the early heats. The last heat of the timed finals is at 7:00 p.m.
